On December 21, Ukrainians peacefully protested near the cinema Utopia against broadcasting there a russian movie Cheburashka.
According to open resources, all 5 companies that are mentioned as Cheburashka producers are federal or tightly cooperate with the russian government. Moreover, a significant part of Cheburashka’s leading cast supports russia in the war and russian aggression against Ukraine since 2014.
One of the most common approaches of russian propaganda is covering their blooding crimes with innocent movies, culture, sport, literature, music, etc. Claiming it to be out of politics, they distract the entire world’s attention from committing genocide and crimes against humanity in Ukraine. They cynically produce and distribute family comedies to foreigners while killing Ukrainian kids and their parents.
